It’s almost time to attack!  But before that I wanted to give everyone a central location for identifying several other units that are set to invade.  The Invasion 2 has managed to get a wide variety of soldiers for the attack this time.  Those soldiers span several community websites across the internet led by several of Microsoft’s Xbox MVPs.  They each joined in to help increase the reach so to speak.

The Invasion 2 is a hot spot for people looking to play with a bunch of cool people who game the right way.  It’s time to turn the mics back on and do away with the mute button.  There’s nothing but fun waiting when you attack with the rest of us.

Below is a list of communities and those leading them into battle.  You can visit each of their websites to find out others who are participating and hosting for tomorrow’s invasion.  Don’t hesitate to send a friend request to each community leader you see below to get in on the attack with others.

One of the things we do here at FiftyOne Marketing is game.  I mean we really game and we do it on just about every platform there is from Xbox 360 to PS3 to PC to Wii to handhelds.  We know that there are a ton of games spread out across all these avenues that could be easily missed and not garner the attention that they deserve.  Xbox Live Indie Games is a platform that we believe houses some of the games we mentioned that just don’t get the shine that they need or deserve.

We’re reaching out to a few of the developers making a name for themselves under the Indie Games channel.  We’re helping them get the word out about their titles and at the same time introducing you all to some pretty kick ass games you may have missed.

We’d like to introduce you to the first developer in this new initiative of ours and the game that has us remembering how fun it is when it snows.  Everyone say hello to Hotwave Games and their Xbox Live Indie Games title, Avatar Wave: Snowball Fight.

Remember that one time in band camp when you talked about doing cool things with your Xbox Avatars?  I hope that cool thing involved taking a snowball and shoving it right in the face of other Xbox Avatars.  The creative minds at Hotwave Games presents an insanely awesome thing to do with Xbox Avatars.  Snowball fight!!!

Attack details: Look for community hosts / Gamertags for rounds and round of Survival; play with other communities in other modes

This has become an incredible way to find other soldiers to dig a foxhole with and an incredible way to experience online gaming with people who share a passion for playing the right way. With the success of the first attack, we’re well on our way to engage the target with a monthly attack. (more on that and the future of Invasions soon)
