Is this the most exciting time for gamers still? I remember when E3 was really all you had to get excited for when it came to the latest and greatest in gaming. These days though there are dozens of shows and expos that highlight gaming goodies.
I’m excited about E3 2010 though as well as many of you I’m sure. But I won’t lie about the fact that my excitement is definitely sliced up due to so many events throughout the year. I have to save some of my joy for the likes of GDC, PAX, TGS etc. Does everyone know what those acronyms mean? (smile)
The big question at every E3 event is which of the “big three” will come out on top. Sony will no doubt stress its PlayStation Move. Microsoft will bring the circus to shine some light on Project Natal (or Wave…whatever they decide to call it). And Nintendo will do like they normally do and give us more Mario…or maybe Zelda this time?
It’ll be interesting to see how much they each dish out as we enter a very saturated portion of this generation of consoles. They’ve all been available for years so the chances are that there are very few people who don’t have one or the other in their home. What new thing will keep the consumer interested?

E3 is always one of the best times of year, whether the game or system you want gets announced or not it is still a blast to see everything going on.
