The Invasion 2, Community Leaders Attack
It’s almost time to attack! But before that I wanted to give everyone a central location for identifying several other units that are set to invade. The Invasion 2 has managed to get a wide variety of soldiers for the attack this time. Those soldiers span several community websites across the internet led by several of Microsoft’s Xbox MVPs. They each joined in to help increase the reach so to speak.
The Invasion 2 is a hot spot for people looking to play with a bunch of cool people who game the right way. It’s time to turn the mics back on and do away with the mute button. There’s nothing but fun waiting when you attack with the rest of us.
Below is a list of communities and those leading them into battle. You can visit each of their websites to find out others who are participating and hosting for tomorrow’s invasion. Don’t hesitate to send a friend request to each community leader you see below to get in on the attack with others.
There are also a list of people hosting Scavenge matched in Left 4 Dead 2 from other communities involved. Get more details of The Invasion 2 here.

The Invasion 2

December 27, 2009
After a successful first attack last month, we now set our sights on occupying more of the territory known as Xbox LIVE. We’ve selected a new weapon to engage our target with.Target: Xbox LIVE
Weapon of Choice: Left 4 Dead 2
Invasion: December 27, 7PM – 9PM CST (5PM – 7PM PST)
Attack details: Look for community hosts / Gamertags for rounds and round of Survival; play with other communities in other modes“The only person who could ever miss with this gun would be the sucker with the bread to buy it.” – Peter, Dawn of the Dead (1978)
This has become an incredible way to find other soldiers to dig a foxhole with and an incredible way to experience online gaming with people who share a passion for playing the right way. With the success of the first attack, we’re well on our way to engage the target with a monthly attack. (more on that and the future of Invasions soon)

MAG Beta, PMCs to Enlist, Codes To Give
I remember the moment during E3 2008 when Zipper Interactive stunned us all by announcing their Massive Action Game and the fact that it would support 256 online players! As many of you, I didn’t believe it either but the time has come and what appeared to be wishful thinking nearly 2 years ago has come to life.

There’s a new sheriff in town and its name is MAG Beta! I have 100 MAG Beta codes to dish out and provide at least 100 solid individuals the chance to enlist and become Private Military Contractors in the world of MAG. Will you choose Raven, S.V.E.R. or Valor?
You can find out the latest on the MAG Beta right here from Zipper Interactive’s own CJ Heine. PlayStation 3 owners unite! It’s time to see what this game is all about. The beta will end on December 5th so be sure to hurry up and secure your code key so you can get some gaming in.
How to enlist?
Let’s keep this simple and reward the first 100 who come calling for a key. Tell your PS3 friends, tell their PS3 friends etc. You can leave a comment here or @whatis51 on Twitter for a key to the MAG Beta. Make sure your email address is valid when commenting because I’ll be sending the code via email for those of you not on Twitter that is.
So let’s go!
